Questions Answered

Everything you need to know before beginning your wellness journey with us.

Do you accept health insurance?
Yes, we accept most major insurance plans including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, United Healthcare, and Medicare. Our billing team will verify your coverage before your first visit and provide transparent cost estimates for any services not fully covered.
Are telehealth visits as effective as in-person?
For consultations, follow-ups, nutrition counseling, and most wellness care, research shows telehealth is equally effective — and often preferred for convenience. When physical exams or labs are needed, we'll schedule an in-person visit at our Sedona clinic or partner facility near you.
Is my health information private and secure?
Absolutely. Heal Care Vision is fully HIPAA-compliant. We use bank-level 256-bit encryption, secure US-based servers, and multi-factor authentication. Your records are never sold or shared with third parties — ever.
How quickly can I get an appointment?
New patients are typically seen within 5-7 business days. Existing patients can often schedule same-day telehealth visits for urgent concerns. Premier Longevity members enjoy guaranteed same-day access to their dedicated physician.
Can you help me if I live outside Arizona?
Yes! We provide telehealth services to patients in all 50 states. About 70% of our current patients live outside Arizona. You'll receive the same high-quality care through secure video visits with the option to visit our Sedona clinic for in-person consultations.
What makes your nutrition counseling different?
Our registered dietitians combine clinical science with behavioral coaching. We don't just hand you a meal plan — we help you understand why you eat the way you do, address emotional eating patterns, and build sustainable habits that fit your culture, schedule, and preferences.
Are your wellness plans covered by FSA/HSA?
Yes, many components of our wellness plans qualify as eligible FSA/HSA expenses, including physician visits, lab work, nutrition counseling, and preventive screenings. We provide detailed receipts and documentation to simplify reimbursement.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Bring a list of current medications and supplements, recent lab results if available, your insurance card, and a photo ID. Most importantly, bring your questions and an open mind. We'll guide you through everything else during your visit.
